18 month pictures!

We took Gavin's 18 month pictures today. Do you know how hard it is to get an 18 month old to look at the camera? Especially when that said 18 month old is so used to seeing the camera...he doesn't even give it a second glance. Unfortunately blogger washes the color out of the pictures some because before we uploaded them his eyes were SUPER blue. We got a few of him telling us his age and calling the hogs!

10 weeks from today!

I am 29 weeks pregnant today. Today is the 10 week mark until our scheduled c-section. I can't believe things are going by so fast. We took these pregnancy pics around 28 weeks. There is one of Gavin kissing my belly which I find to be SO CUTE! We had a 4d ultrasound done today. It was very neat to see pictures of her face. She has really started to gain some of that much needed baby fat that wasn't there at her 20 week ultrasound. She is very active! We still have not picked out a name. We have had a very rough time lately as AJ just found out yesterday that he has been laid off from work, effective immediately. We appreciate any prayers you would send our direction as he starts the job hunt. This is a very unfortunate time for this to happen as our baby girl will be here very soon. I am going to be able to pick up some night shifts at work to help with finances for now. If anyone out there knows of any job openings, give us a holler! Thanks! Hope everyone is well!

first "real" haircut

Today we took Gavin to an "old school" barber shop to get his first "real" haircut. He was doin' pretty good until the end when he had hair all over his arms and kept trying to rub his eyes. He then got hair in his eyes and mouth and was trying desperately to wipe it off......which made more get in there.....it was funny but sad at the same time. We took him to the back of the car and took his VERY hairy shirt off and put his hoodie on.....check out our lil stud muffin!

Build a Bear for "Seee Seeee"

Today we went to Tulsa to go shopping and to go to "Build a Bear" workshop so Gavin could build his sissy (affectionately called "seee seeee") a bear. Gavin has a bear that his Oma and Grandpa built for him when he was sick with RSV at 5 months old. We picked out a shirt for sissy's bear that says "it's a girl". The one on Gavin's bear says "It's a boy". Gavin had a lot of fun looking at all the animals and all the clothing you can buy for the bears. He was trying to "listen" to the heart before kissing it and putting it inside the bear. He even got to help stuff it. Grandpa Jerry was there and bought the bear for little sissy. We had a blast!
